Autobiographical information

Was born on January 14, 1984 in Postavy, Vitebsk region (Belarus).

In 2006 she graduated from Sumy National Agrarian University and received a full higher education in the specialty “Management of foreign economic activity” and obtained a Master’s Degree in Foreign Economic Activity’s Management. She received an honors degree.

In 2018 she graduated and received a full higher education in the specialty “Law” and obtained a Master’s Degree in Law. She received an honors degree.

Since June 2006 she worked as a manager of the import department of PJSC “Technology” before enrolling for postgraduate studies at SNAU. From May 2008 to August 2010 – Research Fellow at the Problematic Research Laboratory of Integrated Rural Development, expert at the Center of Strategic Studies of the SNAU.

In December 2009 she successfully defended her dissertation for the candidate of economic sciences degree (PhD) on the topic: “Development of foreign trade activities by agricultural enterprises” (specialty 08.00.04).

Since September 2010 – till August 2017 – Associate Professor of the Chair of Management of FEA and European Integration of SNAU.

In 2015 she received the title of Associate Professor of the Chair of Management of Foreign Economic Activity and European Integration of SNAU.

Since 2017 she is a co-executor of the project for young scientists of Ukraine.

Since August 2017 to the present time – Associate Professor of International Relations Chair of SNAU.

In 2017, she received a Certificate of Proficiency in English (Certificate B2).

The results of the research conducted by Nataliia Volchenko are published in 85 scientific papers, including: 48 scientific articles (3 of them – Scopus, 1 – WoS, 26– Index Copernicus International), 5 monographs, 35 abstracts, 1 textbook with the stamp of the Ministry of Education and Science.

The basic disciplines are: History of International Relations (in English), Theory of International Relations (in English), Public International Law (in English), International Protection of Human Rights (in English).

Field of research: protection of human rights in the context of international relations’ development and public international law

Project for young scientists of Ukraine (state topic): project ID 96737 “Improvement of the legislation of Ukraine as to the provision of the protection of the banking in the conditions of European integration: economic and legal aspect” (№ 0117 U 006531).

Internships: Internship Programs: SNAU (2013), Research Institute of Postgraduate Education, University of Bioresources and Environmental Management of Ukraine (2015), Bern University of Applied Sciences as part of a joint project with Nestle (2017), University of National and World economy (Sofia, Bulgaria, 2017). An educational visit to the European Court of Human Rights, Council of Europe (Strasbourg, France, 2018), International Criminal Court, International Court of Justice (Hague, The Netherlands, 2019), German-Ukrainian Bar Association (Wiesbaden, Germany, 2021), Teadmus Service (Tallinn, Estonia, 2021) was made, participation in the mobility program “Central and Eastern European University Study Program” – Topic: “International protection of human rights” (Faculty of Law, University of Craiova (Romania), 2022) was made.
