Famous graduates
Mykola Vashchenko, graduated in 2005
Due to the study at Sumy National Agrarian University there was a chance for me to continue my education at Varminsk-Mazursk University in Olshtyn (Poland) where in 2008 I got university-level education on specialization “Law” at the Department of Law and Management.
Education opened me a door to take a post-graduate course and conduct classes from 2008 till 2013(Fundamentals of Economics, World Economic Relations) for the students of the specialty World Relations of Varminsk-Mazursk University in Olshtyn (Poland).
In 2013 I got a scientific degree of Candidate of Economic Sciences in Poland.
The years of 2007-2013 were meaningful in my life as I held more than 40 Polish-Ukrainian events including those in cooperation with the Law Department of SNAU which were of cultural, language, educational and integration character.
At present I work as a private entrepreneur. My major is economic activity management in the sphere of education and legal advice, namely: courses, consultations, master classes, lectures as well as practical classes on project management, business planning, use of financial support of European Union Funds for the development of Polish economy, support of the Ukrainian businessmen willing to do business in Poland as well as assistance to the Ukrainian youth in getting higher education in Poland.
Study at Sumy National Agrarian University in addition to knowledge gave me an opportunity to see the world, thus, enlarge my outlook. Due to the wide possibilities given by the University I was able to undertake my practical and educational training in Poland and England. Furthermore, there was a good chance to get acquainted with some interesting people among students and the teaching staff as well. Some wise man has said that a man resembles those people he meets in his life. I really appreciate the classes and communication with Dubovyk Svitlana Hryhorivna, Nesvetov Oleksandr Oleksandrovych, Ksienofontova Maryna Mykolaivna, Zavalnyi Volodymyr Mykolaiovych and many others.
Study of the law specialty (it was the basics of legal knowledge in agro-industrial complex at that time) in SNAU gave thorough knowledge in the field of both legal and economic issues connected with the existence of Ukrainian and world economies. Moreover, doing this specialization I got a chance to undertake a term of educational training at the Law department of Polish university where the knowledge gained at SNAU happened to be of great use. That is why the process of adaptation to new cultural and educational conditions was painless.
I would like to wish the Law department not to be content with what they have but keep on searching new possibilities and ideas to be used for raising the standards of the process of education and getting new achievements. Due attention should be paid to foreign languages learning and setting cooperation with international scientific centers and all other types of entities (in the widest meaning of this word) as collaboration with them will make it possible to get the effect of synergy useful for both parties.
Vashchenko Kateryna, graduated in 2011
At present I work for the firm “Smart Automation” in the city of Olshtyn and continue my education at Varminsk-Mazursk University of the above mentioned city. I enjoy it to say that it has become possible for me including my study at Sumy National Agrarian University as well.
It is impossible to forget the training period at the Law Department of SNAU. Thanks to extraordinary skills of our lecturers more than 25 “green” entrants of 2008 graduated as qualified junior specialists-lawyers in 2011. Life in SNAU became brighter and more resolute with the appearance of the Law Department. We had no problems either with accommodation or study, and the teachers were always open to dialogues. One will never forget the legal clinic “Trust” as it was the source of practical knowledge where both students and their lecturers could make a friendly collective I have kept in touch with up to now.
I believe that juridical education is a special one, and its basics help not only to find a decent job but in everyday life also. I stick to the opinion that jurisprudence as a subject should be given more time for study at our schools so that one could choose a future profession as early as at school.
I wish my dear Law faculty further prosperity, strengthening of international relationships and open the Master of Law educational level as soon as possible.
