Cooperation of the law department of SNAU with scientific and educational establishments

The Law Faculty actively cooperates with recognized foreign and Ukrainian scientific and educational centers, central and regional authorities, justice institutions, public organizations.
When talking about the international vector of cooperation, we should first mention the cooperation started in 2017 with the European Law Faculties Association (ELFA).
An important milestone in the history of SNAU’s academic cooperation with Europe’s leading universities was the signing on May 6, 2018, at the University of Aristotle (Greece) of the Memorandum of Understanding of the International Organization of the Black Sea and Eastern Mediterranean Academic Partnership (BSIMAN), which brought together about 50 universities. The authorized representative from the Ukrainian partner universities was elected SNAU in the person of the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Doctor of Law, prof. SI. Pair.
Close scientific contacts have been established with the Warsaw Law Faculty of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Republic of Poland), the Law Faculty of the University of National and World Economy (Sofia, Bulgaria). The result of academic cooperation with the University of Euroregional Economy in Jozefow (Republic of Poland) was the organization and holding of the 5th International Conference on Human Rights on 3 June 2019.
The faculty and the Ukrainian partners have a strong cooperation with the National Mediation and Reconciliation Service. Thus, since 2014, at her request, the scientists of the faculty under the direction of Doctor of Science, Professor S.I. The liturgies performed 6 research works: “Mediation in the Consideration of Labor Disputes in Court”, “Legal Responsibility for Violation of Labor Disputes Legislation”, “Jurisdiction of Judicial and Extra-Judicial Bodies for the Settlement of Labor Disputes”, “Formation of a New System of Protection of Labor Rights: national peculiarities and international standards “,” Legal responsibility for violation of the requirements of the legislation on the procedure for the settlement of collective labor disputes (conflicts): status and prospects “,” Improvement of the legislation on the procedure yrishennya collective labor disputes (conflicts): Status and Prospects. ” The cooperation with the Institute of Legislation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Center for Problems of Implementation of European Social Law of Kyiv National University named after I. Taras Shevchenko.
The Faculty actively cooperates with Sumy regional state administration, local self-government bodies. So, in 2019, the scientists of the faculty under the direction of Ph.D., Associate Professor Yu.L. Sklyar carried out research work commissioned by the Department of Ecology and Conservation of Natural Resources of the Sumy Regional State Administration “Development of a project to maintain a park-monument of landscape art of local importance” Volokytinsky “(Volokityne village, Putivl district)”.
Faculty scientists participate in the work of advisory councils, collegial bodies under the Sumy Regional State Administration and the Sumy Regional Council. Yes, Ph.D. Rozhkova is the deputy chairman of the regional commission on rehabilitation in Sumy region, Ph.D. MA. Mykhailychenko is a member of the expert working group at the Coordination Council for National-Patriotic Education at the Sumy Regional State Administration, a member of the Commission for the Sumy Regional Literature and Arts Prize.
Faculty faculty are actively involved as experts and moderators in the educational events organized by the Sumy Regional State Administration, in particular, the project “Statehood and Patriotism” (2018), Regional Forum of National Patriotic Education “Awakened Consciousness” (2019 presentation). exhibitions “Ukrainian Army: 1917-1921” (2019).
Close partnerships have developed with regional justice agencies. Agreements and memorandums of cooperation were concluded with the Territorial Department of the State Judicial Administration of Ukraine in Sumy region, the Northeast office of the State Judicial Service, the Sumy district administrative court, the Economic court of Sumy region, the Sumy regional employment center with the regional center Sumy Research Expert Forensic Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

The testimony of close cooperation of the faculty with the regional level judicial institutions was the round table “Modern Legal Education: From Educational Programs to Prospects for Reform”, which was attended by representatives of the Territorial Administration of the State Judicial Administration of Ukraine in Sumy region, Sumy district administrative court, the Court district administrative court Zarechny District Court of Sumy, Sumy Scientific and Forensic Expert Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Regional Center for granting free of charge Secondary legal assistance in Sumy Oblast, Sumy Oblast Employment Center, Sumy Police Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine in Sumy Oblast. The participants discussed the issues of reforming legal education, focusing specifically on the features of educational and professional programs under which specialists are trained at the SNAU Law Faculty, identified the directions of the faculty’s cooperation with external stakeholders.
